This Month Will Require You to THINK!

This Mercury Retrograde is going to take you through some challenges you've never seen before. Some will be completely OFF the charts, changing your life in ways you never imagined. Others will be irritating, like a bug in your car, but not life altering. It is going to be a time of emotional blasts from the past. There is a strong likelihood of complete transformation. Part of you will die - thoughts and beliefs or relationships, but part of you will rise from the ashes. More than your mind will be changed. Your entire self-concept may change forever as you turn away from what is not working for you. Accidents - bad ones - are likely. Water will be a very big issue - drinking water, the ocean's water, rain, and tears.

Even in the worst of storms, the Sun is always shining above the clouds. Yes, catastrophic winds and floods will destroy your home, but you will have a new home. You must keep your wits about you this month. You must also choose your battles and remember to take things lightly whenever you can. If you can laugh at yourself, you can get through this mess with a lot fewer gray hairs.

Starting now, March 1st, plan NOT to travel far March 3 through 8, when Mercury is conjunct to Scheat, the malefic star in the shoulder of Pegasus, at the top of the square in his constellation. Scheat brings bad ju-ju including catastrophes such as floods, shipwreck, mining accidents, airplane accident, or possible suicide. Normally I wouldn't mention negative stuff like this, but, like a hurricane warning, you need to know so you can respond with calm, centered clarity. You must think, not just react. Seek to think outside the box. Actively look for the truth. It will set you free.

Mercury does better in aspect to the stars Achernar and Ankaa (March 24 to April 1), while they are conjunct to Neptune, the ruling planet of Pisces. Achernar is the ninth brightest star in the heavens and the end of the celestial river Eridanus. A bit of a wild card, Eridanus not only has calm regions but rapids and wild water too. The waters will demand their due this month. Pollution and climate change are killing the fish, poisoning the water, and will ultimately kill us. We MUST restore and protect marine environments. Expect a marine crisis, perhaps from a major accident at sea or an undersea earthquake and tsunami.

Ankaa is the main star in the constellation of Phoenix. The bird of fire that rises from its own ashes, evokes the concepts of death and rebirth, reinvention, and reincarnation. Dreams, creativity, and all things Neptunian will surface. Your dreams are going to be really wild. Neptune's trident evokes earthquakes and tsunamis. The god of the oceans has good reason to be pissed. We have made a mess of his world. And we are not taking responsibility or steps to fix it, either. Yet.

This month Mercury retrogrades through Neptune-ruled Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, and the ending/omega to the alpha/new beginnings of Aries. We will all line up before the King of the Oceans TWICE in perfect alignment - once as we go bassackwards, and then again as we come back through the wringer of time to get back on normal track. Whatever emotional issues you are still carrying from the past will come up for you, one way or another. The anger at your mother? Count on it. The rage at your ex? You bet. What about the coulda/shoulda/woulda's of past opportunities missed? Oh yes, them too. And if you don't deal with them this time, you will get to do it in July when Mercury retrogrades through Cancer. Trust me. Work your way through these issues. DEAL with them and be done. You really don't want to wait for November when he will wrestle you to the ground through Scorpio. As I mentioned last month, have tissues and chocolate on hand.

So how are you going to integrate this information?

1. Stay flexible and on your toes, ready to respond to whatever unfolds at any moment.
2. Stay alert and ready to adjust your position, plans, and ideas quickly and without warning.
3. Don't resist what is happening. Detach and observe. Think: Isn't that interesting?
4. Think of the month like a chess game. Accept everything and respond thoughtfully.
5. Use everything as an opportunity to learn and grow, or to be amused.

You have been through three or four retrogrades of Mercury every year for your entire life. This too shall pass. You have a heads up and know how to handle this mess. Use your MIND.

You’re all ready to rumble, but is your car ready to pick up the new customer, new boss, or new lover? Oh heck no. It’s time to clean out the car! Lighten the flight load for your dragon by getting the weight out of your car. Clean out the console, under the seats, and the glove compartment. Organize your trunk to include a few tools, cables, flashlight, a towel, and a container of water. Scrape the crud out of the cup holders. Remove the stuff tucked above your visors. Hang only tiny things from your mirror. Repair all mirrors. Go to a professional car wash place that cleans inside and out. Have windshield chips filled. Get a full tank of gas. If you’re really inspired, have the oil changed.

Clarity of vision is of great importance, especially in the forward movement in life. Driving blind is never a good idea. A simple splash and swipe across the windshield makes a big difference in your safety, and the safety of others. Want to shift your world view for the better? Wash your windows, inside and out. Professional window washers clean first with soap and water, maybe even ammonia. Then a final squeegeed swipe with vinegar and water, dried with newspaper for a lint-free finish.

You can do this one room at a time, but do it regularly. Also do this when the sun is not shining on the glass. If you cannot physically do this yourself, hire it done. You will be amazed at the difference it makes. You’ll see everything clearly.

Things in the dark multiply. Whether closets, garages, or kitchen utensil drawers, the stuff inside procreates like bunnies in Springtime! No one knows why this happens, but we know that it slows us down when we’re looking for the right tool. We can get stabbed or sliced by the sharp pointy things in there. Honor your tools by organizing them, just like your purse. Empty the drawer and clean it. Group like things together. Minimize the extras: give them away or throw them away. Put things back in a more organized manner. Maybe even get some drawer organizers!

Confusion is one of the greatest enemies for the dragon. Everything you own is tied to you with a ribbon of energy which marks it as yours. Folks know your chair, your purse, and your car. Likewise, you have ownership of them, which takes your time and attention, and even money, as you maintain them, clean them, and move them. The more things your eyes have to look at, the more distracted you are. It’s hard to focus your energy on one single thing when you’re looking at thousands. If your work space is under hundreds of pieces of paper, cover it with a white sheet and you’ll immediately see the difference. If you want to cook dinner, the kitchen needs to be clean. So to free your dragon from the dragging down of distractions, organize your stuff by grouping like things together. Label and contain them. Then put them behind closed doors or curtains.

Your kids won’t thank you for holding them back or dragging them down. Dragon energy supports new beginnings. It is powerful enough to burst out of the soil and soar to the sky. But it needs light, soil, and nutrients to thrive. It also needs other dragons!

Stage dragon energy in every room of the house. One of the best things to have as evidence of the bounty of the Earth is a basket of fresh fruit or vegetables. Buy only what you can consume before they go bad. Keep your fruit basket stocked and your dragon will know you are taking great care of yourself too. Feel the surge of power that comes from tending to your needs. Want to supercharge the Green Dragon at work? Add a large plant (taller than you) or a violet to your office. Put them to your left.

Moldavite - The Emerald Star that Fell to Earth

MOLDAVITE – THE GEMSTONE THAT FELL TO THE EARTH

The origin of Czech moldavites, also known as the Vltavines, is most likely connected with an event that happened about 14.7 million years ago. At that time a huge meteorite around 1 km in diameter hit the borderland between what is today southern Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The impact left traces that are still visible today, namely the 24-km wide Ries crater, in which the city of Nördlingen was built, and the Vltavines.

The energy released by the impact of this large body instantly melted the surrounding rocks and glassy masses were ejected to heights of up to 200 km and distances as far as 450 km. Fragments of this semi-liquid mass that had been transformed into aerodynamic shapes on their way through the atmosphere (drops, spheres, rotating discs, doubled drops - dumbbells, etc.) fell down on a Tertiary plateau with large lakes.

This territory is today called South Bohemia. South Bohemia is the most famous moldavite site today, but there are also other sites in the Czech Republic where these gemstones can be found.

There is another side of this story. An esoteric tale for those who like a little lore with their history…

While there are many versions of this tale, the core truths found in every story include these details:

• There was a stone that fell from Heaven (called lapsit exillis). It had formerly been the dwelling place of the Neutral Angels - those who took neither side during Lucifer’s rebellion.
• The stone was green, but not an emerald. It was of a certain shade of green that appeared to be alive.
• Lucifer claimed the emerald and set it in his crown. Since he would no longer rule Heaven, he intended to rule Earth.
• When Lucifer fell to Earth from Heaven, the crown fell off his head and the stone was knocked loose.
• It was split into two parts as it landed - the heart and the body. The body was scattered. The heart was found by someone who knew what to do with it.
• From the heart of the stone, was made the Smagardine Tablet, into the surface of which the Hermetic Principles were inscribed, but science has never figured out how to make any sort of a scratch or mark on the stone. The other object was a cup, destined to serve as the Grail chalice.
  

Living and Carrying a Bit of the Green Star

I gave myself my first piece of moldavite last Christmas. I understand that it works best when it is paired with a smoky quarts. Not wanting to rub the rivulets off my moldavite I have each stone in separate silk bag and keep them both in a velvet bag. I normally tuck the bag into my bra, sitting right over my heart. I don't want to sit on the stones, nor do I want to have them fall out of my pocket for any reason.

You might pin it to the inside of your shirt if you don't wear a bra. Or you might have it mounted in a little cage or as a necklace. Whatever works for you will be whatever works for you. This is new territory and we are figuring it out as we go.

I must say that since I have had and worn the moldavite, my days are FREAKING AWESOME! I feel immeasurably empowered when I have it with me. (There are some days I choose to take it easy, but most days I can't resist the charge it gives to my intentions.) I find that I don't hesitate over anything. I am in a solid "go for it" mode and I am really excited to say that I have never, ever had such a strong string of positive results to almost everything I do.

If you have been feeling puny or disempowered, order yourself a moldavite. I strongly encourage you to get it from Czechoslovakia so that you know you are getting a true stone. There are a lot of folks who will scam you. Do your homework and find a reputable dealer.

Expect to pay for their beauty and size. This is truly an investment, like buying gold coins.

The ADD/ADHD Betrayal of Our Children

Parking your children in front of a glittering blue light screen is NOT a good idea. Neither the families of Steve Jobs nor Bill Gates allow their children to have a cell phone, digital tablet, or laptop. What they see on the digital screen is called "programming" for a reason. The more they watch, the more their brains and minds are influenced.

There is a difference between the brain and the mind. The brain is the gray gishy wrinkly mass inside your skull that serves to allow you to take thoughts and manifest them into your reality. What you are thinking defines your life. If you believe you are a strong, smart, sassy person, then you are that. If you believe you are a broken, battered, bitter person, then you are that.

Science knows that the mind exists beyond the brain. There is mind in every cell of your body. Every cell knows its job and how to do it. Your heart has a mind of its own that is separate from the brain. In fact, the heart tells your body much more information than the brain does. You can find the excellent research about this at http://www.heartmath.org. They are pioneers in all things to do with the heartmind and share their research with the public.

There is much effort and energy that are required to rear a strong, healthy kid. Conscientious follow-through is the gold coin of parenting. The problem is how to amuse their minds when they are soaking up every bit of information to which they are exposed and still want more. The answer is NOT technology. The good news is that what they need is actually Nature. They need to "go outside and play." You remember doing that, right?

If you or someone you know has a child that has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), chances are the child is actually just fine. The "father" of ADHD, Leon Eisenberg, would presumably say if he were still alive. On his death bed, this psychiatrist and autism pioneer admitted that ADHD is essentially a "fictitious disease," which means that millions of young children today are being needlessly prescribed severe mind-altering drugs that will set them up for a life of drug addiction and failure.

ADHD was merely a theory developed by Eisenberg. It was never actually proven to exist as a verifiable disease, despite the fact that Eisenberg and many others profited handsomely from its widespread diagnosis. And modern psychiatry continues to profit as well, helping also to fill the coffers of the pharmaceutical industry by getting children addicted early to dangerous psychostimulant drugs like Ritalin (methylphenidate) and Adderall (amphetamine, dextroamphetamine mixed salts)."

ADHD is fraud intended to justify starting children on a life of drug addiction," said Dr. Edward C. Hamlyn, a founding member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, back in 1998 about the phony condition. Adding to this sentiment, psychiatrists Peter Breggin and Sami Timimi, both of whom oppose pathologizing the symptoms of ADHD, say that ADHD is more of a social construct than it is an objective "disorder."

No one in Europe has ADHD. This is our American craze for wanting doctors to tell us what to think and give us a pill to fix it. And our children are suffering for it.

As a Master Teacher and professional educator, I have taught countless kids labeled ADD or ADHD. The schools get paid a certain amount of money for every child they have per day. They are locked down in classrooms under constantly flickering (and cheap) fluorescent light for hours and hours when the same children would have been outside playing in the sunlight if there wasn't money involved. They are told what to think, not taught how to think. And the smartest of them - those said to have ADHD - all have been labeled and drugged and forced to sit down and shut up and do what they are told.

If your son or daughter has trouble sitting still and regurgitating what they are being force fed in the schools, you need to do whatever it takes to get them into a learning situation that allows time in Nature. Rain or shine. Hot or cold. Just like we used to go outside and play.

You will have to wean them off their drugs. Half the dose weekly until they are taking so little you feel there is no difference, then let them go. Detox them as you go with teas for their livers and kidneys. LOTS of water, fresh fruit, and sunshine make a huge difference in how your child's brain and mind functions. They need social interaction - read: other kids to play with and to share their learning with.

No child should be betrayed by their parents, especially in the name of "sit down, shut up, and leave me alone while I cook dinner." Give your kids chores to do. You're rearing adults, not children! If you are a single parent, sit down with the child and go over the changes you are going to instigate and the reasons. Kids understand a lot more than they are given credit for. They want to grow up strong and smart and sassy, just like you.

Your Body Eats Cells of Plants or Animals

The plants that you eat are made of cells. The meat that you eat is made of cells. The processed foods that you eat has had the cells destroyed. The microwave oven that you use explodes the cells of whatever you heat inside it.

Doubt this? Let's have some science…

An egg is a cell. It has a visible nucleus in the yolk. The albumen is the cell's liquid body and the shell is its cell wall. Go put an egg in your microwave and zap it for a minute. See what happens to that cell for yourself. For those of you who trust me, here is a photo to save some serious clean up.

Your body doesn't know what to do with what you've sent down to your stomach. So it just puts it on your belly, your thighs, or your butt to store for later. And there will never be a "later."

Microwaved food makes you feel bad. If you go to a restaurant and your food is nuked, you will leave feeling a sense of "oof - I wish I hadn't eaten that." ASK your waiter if any of your order will be microwaved. Many places don't offer any other option. Some places don't have a microwave on site.

Baked potatoes taste different than nuked potatoes. Popcorn made in a pot over a flame tastes different than microwave popcorn. Don't use it to heat water either. It destroys the structure of the water and your body will suffer for it.

The electromagnetic waves produced by common household microwaves is something Russia has taken seriously. Back in 1976, after conducting thorough research, Russia determined that microwaves were dangerous to people and banned the devices to protect their citizenry.

Use fire to cook, people. There was never a day anyone ever said, "Hey Honey. Let's nuke a steak for supper."

Just put your supper in a glass, steel, or cast iron dish, cover it with a glass or steel lid, and heat it in the oven. Set a timer for about 25-30 minutes and go do chores, set the table, supervise the kids, walk the dogs, whatever you need to do now that you're home.
